Alejandro Niz was born in 1973 in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, and attended his studies in the School of Beautiful Arts of the National University of Cordoba. He has participated in innumerable samples, individual and collective, at national and international level from 1992 to the present time.
From 2002 to 2005 one evolved like General Coordinator and Curator of the Cultural Nucleus, a space to multidiscipline pertaining to the Secretariat of Extension of the National University of Cordoba. During this function it cured more than 80 samples of national and foreign authors of the great prestige. During the 2005 it coordinated the aesthetic recognition of the Church of Los Capuchinos (Cordoba), work of Augusto Ferrari, to order of the artist León Ferrari.

Alejandro Niz nació en 1973 en la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, y cursó sus estudios en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
Ha participado de innumerables muestras, individuales y colectivas, a nivel nacional e internacional desde 1992 a la actualidad.
Desde 2002 a 2005 se desempeñó como Coordinador General y Curador del Núcleo Cultural, un espacio multidisciplinar perteneciente a la Secretaría de Extensión de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Durante esta función curó más de 80 muestras de autores nacionales y extranjeros de gran prestigio. Durante el 2005 coordinó el relevamiento estético de la Iglesia de Los Capuchinos (Córdoba), obra de Augusto Ferrari, a pedido del artista León Ferrari.

DESCRIPTION OF ART
"In my painting I interrogate the sense of certain personal feelings that with the passage of time they became. Using as main axis the term "melancholy" I cross diverse moments of which until today, they were my years of life.
For this, I am not formulated strictly plastic outlines, but that once composed the images, I introduce myself completely in the mere act of the painting.
My work very hard has a graphical characteristic in its majority, introducing very subtly the color, incorporating typographies several or texts applied on the images, with the intention to reinforce the concept and other times single based on texture or symbol.”

“En mi pintura interrogo el sentido de ciertos sentimientos personales que con el paso del tiempo se transformaron.
Utilizando como eje principal el término "nostalgia" recorro diversos momentos de lo que hasta hoy, fueron mis años de vida.
Para esto, no me formulo planteos estrictamente plásticos, sino que una vez compuestas las imágenes, me introduzco de lleno en el mero acto de la pintura.
Mi obra posee una característica gráfica muy fuerte en su mayoría, introduciendo muy sutilmente el color, incorporando tipografías varias o textos aplicados sobre las imágenes, con la intención de reforzar el concepto y otras veces solo en función de textura o símbolo.”
