'Although I never had a formal art training, I have been creative in many different fields all through my life. After I had written a children's book in 2000, I wanted to illustrate it myself. I became really involved in digital art. I discovered that my original beeswax paintings could be scanned easily and they have been an enormous source of inspiration, together with my spiritual cat Knor!'
