Debra Bretton Robinson, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, USA received her BFA at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. She most often works in acrylics on canvas and collage on wood. Debra draws from New England architecture for sources of imagery, but her color choices are far from traditional. Her vivid and colorful depictions verge on the abstract, underscoring a strong sense of drawing with her signature line quality. She works as strongly in collage as she does in acrylic paints, abreviating details of her subjects.
