Artist
I was born in Bristol, England in 1944 and have been painting since a child. Educated and worked in London. Married and emigrated to Dunedin, New Zealand in 1973.
I completed a Certificate for Proficiency in Dressmaking & Design at Otago Polytechnic in 1989.
In 1990 I became a full-time student at the Otago Polytechnic School of Art and achieved a Diploma in Fine Arts with Honours in 1994.
I completed a Certificate in Adult Teaching at the Dunedin College of Education in 2004.
In 2005 I achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Otago Polytechnic School of Art.
I am a Past President of the Taieri Art Group, a Past Vice President of the Otago Art Society and their Exhibitions Officer.
I paint in watercolours, oils, acrylic and mixed media. My subjects include landscapes, flowers, scenes from overseas travels and abstracts. I do paintings on commission and make greeting cards.
I also have a sense of humour.
