For many years Emil Matulewicz has been producing a variety of paintings. Portraits form the main part of his art portfolio. Flowers, still lifes and landscapes are also painted in a typical and recognisable stroke. This stroke is often very strong. To keep this strength and power in his paintings Emil prefers to use acrylic based paint. In general a central theme, subject or person is chosen, this selection is emphasized by the background which only serves to complete the painting.
