I am a contemporary, self taught painter based in the Netherlands. To improve my skills and
techniques I assigned myself to paint every day and post the paintings on my website. The Daily
Postcard-sized Paintings is a daily updated gallery where you will find each day a fresh new
painting. Subjects are still lifes, things in or around the house, and landscapes, places in Holland
we've visited or again, around the area.
The idea of painting a day was created by Duane Keiser, later followed by Julian Merrow-Smith and
