Born in Ukraine, village Polkivnyche (Ivanki), Cherkasy region. Graduated from M. Boychuk Kyiv State Institute
of Decorative and Applied Arts as well as Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Member of the National
Artists Union of Ukraine.
Participant in many art exhibitions and competitions in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Norway, Hungary,
Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Italy, and USA. From 1976 to 1995 worked at Kyiv Centre of Monumental and
Decorative Arts. Created, in collaboration with the artist Ernest Kotkov, who was his teacher mentor,
three-dimensional space relief compositions, such as “Awakening”, “Let the Sun Always Shine” (Kuznetsovsk,
Urkaine),
“Meteorites” (Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine), “By the Sources” (Kyiv, Urkaine). Together with Ernest
Kotkov, created sculptural composition and art design for Kyiv metro station “Lybidska”.
From 1995 has been working in New York. Member of United Scenic Artists Union. His work was presented
in Ukrainian Embassy in America, Washington DC, Ukrainian Institute of America, Artists Space, New York.
Currently his work is presented by Ambienti Italia, Tache Gallery New York
