PETER KLINT, BORN 1971 IN WESTERLAND; STARTED PAINTING INTENSIVELY IN THE LATE EIGHTIES. DURING THE NINETIES HE TRAVELLED AROUND GERMANY AND POLAND, STAYED IN MANY PLACES AND NEVER REALLY SETTLED DOWN. BESIDES DOING ART, HE HAD TO STAY ALIVE SOMEHOW AND DID AN ENDLESS LIST OF MC-JOBS.
IN THE END OF 1999 HE MOVED TO HAMBURG, WHERE HE WAS VISITING THE “BILDKUNST ACADEMY“ FOR ONE YEAR.
IN JANUARY 2001 HE STARTED WORKING ON HIS CURRENT PROJECT, CALLED“PORTRAITFIRMA“ (PORTRAITFIRMA MEANS PORTRAIT COMPANY). WITHIN THIS PROJECT HE PAINTED ABOUT 50 PORTRAITS YET AND BROUGHT THEM TO HIS WEBSITE . IN MAY 2001, THE SUBPROJECT “BEDROOM ART“ , WHICH IS ABOUT FIGURE PAINTING, WAS BROUGHT TO LIVE. BOTH GALLERIES ARE STILL GROWING. IN OCTOBER 2001 HIS PORTRAIT OF THOMAS BERNHARD WAS USED FOR THE COVER OF "THE TIMES LITERARY SUPPLEMENT".
