TONY MENDOZABiography: Artist Tony Mendoza was born in New York to Cuban parents, but raised in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. This guy's work is so vibrant and colorful! He intimately captures the daily life of Little Havana with style and best of all, a great sense of humor. I Magazine – Three Guys from Miami – November 2003 Tony commenced his artistic endeavors by painting the colorful and historic homes of his childhood neighborhood of Little Havana, and bringing his art to the public at Cultural Fridays on Calle Ocho. His unique and whimsical renderings led to many commissions of house portraits throughout South Florida and eventually the rest of the country. Inspired by his activity in Little Havana he has created several collections of humorous vignettes depicting life and commerce in this vibrant section of Miami.
