Angela Cater |
| Biography: Born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Angela Cater has been painting animals all her life.
As a mature student, she took the Foundation course in Art and Design at Chesterfield College of Technology and Arts, before studying Graphic Design and Advertising at the Northern College of Creative Arts.
She now lives in Manchester with her four cats, who frequently model for her paintings. Although working as a university administrator, she spends all her spare time painting and drawing animals.
Angela is an associate member of the Society of Feline Artists. Her wildlife paintings were highly commended in the 1997 and 1998 national "Paint a Wildlife Subject" competition, and reached the finals in 2000.
Angela regularly provides email card designs for Care2.com (one of the top internet card sites), and provides illustrations for the Riverhaven Elderly Cat Welfare.
