Judy N. Bird Biography: Judy N. Bird B.A Fine Art Union Institute • Sacramento, CA Listed in Askart under Bird Artist Description I work in a variety of mediums in a very expressive, colorful style always accentuating gesture in all subject matter whether expressions of people or inanimate objects. Biography A graduate of Union Institute, B.A. Fine Arts Judy Bird is a professional fine artist. In addition to 20 plus years of studio art, she has nine years of private studio teaching experience, 4 years as therapeutic art counseling facilitator. Judy is a fulltime professional artist continuing to create portraits, Colorful Pet & expressionistic & realistic artworks. She is available for commissioned artwork. Judy has exhibited extensively worldwide in both solo and group showings. She has received a number of awards for her paintings as well as being reviewed in Décor magazine on two separate occasions. Founder and former Art Program Director of "The Art That Bonds Parenting Program" for at risk parents and children. Judy was recently nominated to Who's Who in American Art for possible inclusion in the 2000-2001 edition, but she was missing a few Museum exhibits so she wasn't included-but it was an memorable just to be nominated . Judy also completes works for corporate & private commissions and is affiliated with both Art Without Borders An International Artists Forum, a member of and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
