Henk Klinkhamer
 | Biography: Drawing and painting have been his passion since he was a child. At the age of 10 he was already familiar with the easel; At 14 he held his first exhibition. Later on as a bulb-worker, not a night past by without him setting the brush to work, inspired by Cezanne, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt and Picasso. "The freedom of form and colour that's what drew me to them; he says. "Discipline is tremendously important you simply must have that drive.Painting and Art are two separate things. Painting is therapeutic, done for leisure. Being an artist is your conviction, it's your entire motivation.
Henk Klinkhamer was born on 31 march 1952 in Leiden.

1993: Solo-exhibition Kersentuin Amsterdam. Unicef, Megafestatie Utrecht, Guiness Book of Records together with: Patty Harpenau, Candy Dulfer, Arnold v. der Leijden a.o. The painting went to the president of Ghana.
