Maggie Connell
 | Biography: I have been painting for many years but, seriously for the past nine years. I have attended TAFE in Alice Springs and studied drawing, printmaking and painting there. I attended for term, at Broken Hill Tafe and did drawing, design, printmaking, painting and sculpture during this time. My earlier paintings are of colourful naive style people but, I have also painted portraits, still lifes and scenery and birds. More recently, under the influence of Mark Tobey's paintings, I have been using writing and symbols as a basis for paintings. I hope to exhibit, over time, varying styles.
