Pauline Walsh Jacobson

Biography: Pauline Walsh Jacobson was born in Port Arthur, Texas. She graduated in 1972 from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. In 1973, Pauline moved to Austin, Texas where she still resides. Pauline is a tropical/marine artist with a deep love of the ocean and marine life. She paints large transparent watercolor paintings on Arches acid-free watercolor paper using top-brand watercolors. She also creates Polaroid SX-70 manipulations and Polaroid Transfers, some of which she enhances with watercolor. Limited edition giclee prints are available of for most of her watercolor paintings. Pauline also has a large collection of tropical and underwater photography. Her Aquatic Abstractions series is a collection of unique images of sea life printed on archival paper in sizes up to 20"x30".
