Ruth Anthea Vickers
 | Biography: Ruth works in a contemporary classic style. Ruth likes to take the classic subjects that artists have painted for centuries and paint them in a contemporary style with rich colour and dramatic layers of texture. Bold interpretation of light and shadow creates form, skilful use of line and negative shapes add interest to her work. She has worked in all mediums, but mainly uses acrylics in a semi-realistic, fairly loose, style.
