| Biography: Through a self-taught process, Maryann Mendola blends bright expressive color with range of themes from pop-culture icons and personalities to the everyday minutiae. Her work represents an opportunity for the artist to capture emotion and reflects the influence of her children and artistically, influenced by the art work from her mother and uncle.
"I am a person who is living my dream. I am blessed with a gift that allows me to capture great emotions," Mendola says about her work.
For almost 10 years, Mendola who was born in New York City, has been exhibiting her art including shows in New York including OJ Gallery in Soho and during a special exhibition at Nassau Coliseum. And since moving to central Florida, Maryann has continued exhibiting,The Spring Hill Performing Arts Center and in Miami Design District. Her artwork was also aired on TV channel WLRN Artstreet april 12th, 2004.
