|Chihiro Yabe||Biography: Born and raised in Japan, Chihiro enjoyed painting as a child. It became
clear at an early age that she was destined for a career in fine arts. Her
works can be described as realistic with a European and Japanese flavor.
After graduating from Musashino Art University College, Japan, she worked a
housing exterior company for several years as a professional perspective
creator. She then went on to pursuing her passion in watercolor painting.
She has been invited to prestigious international exhibitions such as
Thailand, Korea and Japan. Her works were selected into the Transparent
Watercolor Society of America's national exhibition and Watercolor West
International exhibition. Also, her works were featured on the cover and
interview for a cover story of the French magazine ‘Pratique des Arts’ and
the International Artist Magazine. She is a signature member of the
Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and Japan Watercolor Society. Recently, she
restarted oil painting after almost two decades of focusing on watercolor.
With regained passion for oil paint, she became a juried associate member
of Oil Painters of America and her oil portrait process was featured on the
DANIEL SMITH Newsletter.
Chihiro enjoys expressing herself through a means of drawing that is
fulfilling for her life. She wishes her paintings to be comforting people
to live with for a long time. Country: USA Media: oil, Watercolor Style: impressionistic, Fine Art Subjects: still life, still life, flowers, nature, roses, portrait, landscape|
|Michael Yacono||Biography: Born and raised in New York City. Attended the New York Phoenix School of Design. I managed to sell some portraits to a few "Places". I sold one 18x24 Penciled Portrait of Jimi Hendrix to Electric Ladyland Studio on West 8th Street and another to the Allen Stone Gallery on 86th Street(as a birthday present to "Jimi's X-Lawyer".) Other portraits were sold to a few infamous celebrities who will remain nameless for personal reasons. The portraits were of Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson, Marilyn Monroe, etc. Then one day, after attending a one hour Silk-screening Seminar sponsored by Ulano Corporation, I began silk-screening Tee Shirts. From there I got into Airbrushing in Daytona Beach. Soon after I began airbrushing Tee Shirts at a Concession Stand in Coney Island that lasted for about 15 years. It was followed by Commercial Window Painting and Wall Murals also in Brooklyn, New York.
My interest in computer graphics began with a Commodore Amiga and a Video Project featuring color-cycling animation. The project was entitled "Psychedelic Images the Video Lightshow". Unfortunately, the project got shelved because of a lack of funding.
My current effort as a C.G. Artist is entitled "The Hybrid Collection". With several hundred images in the collection thus far, it's proving to be very promising. But, you be the judge.........(smile).

|Alexey Yakovlev||Biography: I am a self-taught amateur artist. From my early childhood I liked to draw, and wanted to become an artist. Later I became interested in foreign languages, and studied philology at the Moscow university. My profession is Czech language, but I also have some knowledge of English, Finnish, German, Polish, and French. For many years I worked as a translator, and has almost forgotten my drawing. But three years ago I felt some need to draw and paint - maybe I became tired of "words, words, words". Better late than never! Now I work in different techniques: charcoal, graphite, Chinese ink, as well as pastel, oil, and tempera. Because of some technical problems I cannot at the moment present my paintings in the Web (but I hope that I shall do it). I love realistic art. To render the forms of reality in different materials and techniques is the most exciting experience. I am much interested in portraits, although I realize that my skill in portrait drawing is rather unsufficient. Please, remember that I am just an amateur, who is still learning - every day, with every picture.
