| Some paintings like "Hall of Mirrors," should be viewed as carnivals of delight... I really want to stimulate the pleasure center in the brain. I try to give your mind something fun to do, a vacation....things to walk around, things to climb over or duck under, colors to push aside, actual ledges to jump from, a blur to clarity which I think the brain translates as a slide... waterfalls of color that puddle around your feet, hallways and arches, windows and doors, colors that shine and reflect or change with your perspective - paintings that you can project yourself into and experience. |
