Charles Griffith
 | Biography: Charles Griffith's interest in art began in childhood, and was encouraged
by his family. Later, while serving in the U.S. military in Europe, he was
inspired by seeing firsthand some of the treasures of European art.
Today Charles Griffith's oil and acrylic paintings represent a contemporary
interpretation of traditional realism, often with a touch of the surreal
and the macabre added for flavor. His work reflects his love of the Old
Masters, and his subject matter ranges from the conventional to the
unorthodox. His published poetry also reflects these varied motifs. Country: U.S.A Birthyear: 1963 Media: oil Style: realistic Subjects: people, portraits and characters |
