| Join us for this exciting outdoor event that is especially designed to introduce
individuals in wheelchairs to the natural environment by traveling dirt trails through Point
Mugu State Park within the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. This naturalist
led hike is approximately 4 miles long gradually desends to the ocean where we culminate the
event with a family style barbecue on the beach. Each participant will be paired with
volunteers to assist when needed. Transportation to and from the event will be provided from
locations in Woodland Hills and Newbury Park. |
DATE: Saturday, May 20, 2000
TIME: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area - Rancho Sierra Vista to
Sycamore Cove in Point Mugu State Park |
